Warmer temps are slowly making their way out to us in Seattle. For those of you who don't know, I work fully remote from the J5 office in North Carolina and moved out to the Pacific Northwest last July. We are embracing the spring out here, which has us soaking up each ray of sunshine that we can and ultimately dreaming of a nice getaway. That might be (a large) part of the inspiration for this month's top 5.
This month's feature is another 5 Wellness retreats but instead of just the US, we're going global. I could have featured 20+ incredible properties but I hope you enjoy these 5 and be sure to let us know which one you might one to try.
Cheers to new seasons & new adventures!
1 - Castel Fragsburg
Merano, Italy
Features: Forest Bathing
Castel Fragsburg is a place of power for gourmets, romantics, and wellness lovers.
Experience Michelin-starred cuisine, a fairy park with heated pool and sundeck in the middle of the vineyards, and breathtaking mountains, as well as Healing Spa Castellum Natura, where all care elixirs are freshly prepared.
Get the Biophilia Experience - modern alchemist Renate Gamper takes you onto a magical hike, shows you how to use the power of nature, its medicinal herbs, flowers and trees for more health and well-being.
2 - Rosewood Phuket
Phuket, Thailand
Features: Holistic Healing
An alchemical mix of East and West, eco-consciousness, complete extravagance, and Rosewood Phuket has the secret recipe. Nestled in a tropical paradise, this gem of a hotel sprawls along the pristine beach at Emerald Bay.
Experts whip up healing potions at the wellness atelier, used in a variety of alternative therapies. The Asaya spa offers guests holistic cleansing opportunities with energy-balancing treatments, lymphatic massages, and delicious – healthy – dining. Other curated experiences include hikes to the iconic Big Buddha and island-hopping by helicopter.
3 - Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa, Oetker Collection
Baden-Baden, Germany

Villa Stéphanie Spa & Wellbeing ensures relaxing breaks of the highest standard. At Brenners Park, they are running the gamut from traditional Chinese medicine to naturopathic and aesthetic medicine.
4 - Vila Vita Parc
Lagoa, Portugal

Sea-themed rooms, suites, and villas are scattered about Vila Vita Parc to provide guests with the ultimate privacy. After a signature treatment at the Spa by Sisley Paris, a cruise on one of the yachts, or an unforgettable dinner at the two-Michelin starred Ocean, if you feel like a bit more pampering, simply let a butler chauffeur you back to your suite in a golf buggy. No request is too large or small at this unapologetically plush cliffside resort in the Algarve, which offers direct access to the beach and something for everyone...golf, water sports, 12 dining venues, and a phenomenal kids’ playground.
Book a five-day Vital Destress program that provides guests with reflexology sessions, aerial yoga, and a guided meditation that takes place on a clifftop facing the Atlantic Ocean.
